Raph here.
I have yet to read Persepolis, but am determined to after seeing the trailer for the film. This looks incredible. I was unaware that there was going to be a film version. Since everyone in class is familiar with this title, I thought some of you might want to check it out.

Oh, yes, Raph, thanks for sharing. Should be an interesting film. You will enjoy the books, both Part I and Part II. You are welcome to take them home over the break. KES

Raph! Thanks for sharing this with us! now I want to read them too!! If only there could be a movie trailer for every good book… I know we have discussed how to preview books for students in class, but there’s something about a movie trailer that promotes it unlike any person ever could. I can’t wait to get reading and discuss the books with you, Raph!

I got halfway through the book and never got the chance to finish it. I will have to wait until I do before I see the movie. (My personal movie/book philosophy!) I can’t wait until I can go on a much needed shopping spree at Barnes and Noble to pick up some new texts and one will definitely be Persepolis. Speaking of which– Alison: did you know that the Fayetteville Library has a huge book sale every summer?? If I remember correctly, it was in early summer, but I can’t be sure. I went last year and got some great texts and I am looking forward to this summer even more. Just to let you know!
