Go to the NCTE Blog and subscribe. Please read the latest policy brief (hot link there) on myths about adolescent literacy. What a great follow-up to tonight’s class! What good company we are!! I apologize for breaking the cardinal rule (well, one of them) of good teaching–prepare in advance. There was no excuse for my not having all of the handouts ready.

Now that I’m in schools on the days I don’t come to campus–and today on one of the days that I do–I have less access to the copy machines in the office. This was an example of why waiting till an hour before class to make copies is NOT a good idea. Thanks for your patience. I will have the promised handouts next week.

Looking for lots of blog talk, especially about essential questions for the unit, and the readings this week! Try to put up an avatar if you have not already done that! Some instructions appear in an earlier post of mine.

Check back and see our pics from tonight’s class. Thanks Ray! KES
