Book Swap

Check this out. It’s an online book swap that I just found out about. Appearantly you don’t pay anything, just about $1.50 for shipping. Enjoy! Allison

Library Thing is also a neat site for finding out what’s available at a number of book swap sites for titles you may be interested in swapping.

Also, take a look at the 43 Things site’s “leave a book for someone to find it” option. Pretty cool.

The largest book swap operation is Book Crossing where to quote the webmaster “600,439 people in over 130 countries come to share their passion for books with the world. How? It’s easy.” Check these out.

Thanks for getting us started on this journey Allison. KES

Dr. Stearns is right. Library Thing is way cool. You should check it out. It’s more of a way for you to review and recommend the books that you’ve read; however, there is, as Stearns mentions, a bunch of links to book-swapping sites.

Thanks Allison and Dr. Stearns for teaching me about a whole new concept 🙂 Who knew!

That, to me, is one of the beauties of the blog…having a common site to share good ideas and interesting learning opportunities. KES

Book Swap is such a good idea! I never thought of that. It’s useful for both adults and young adolescents. Nice.
